Registrations are accepted exclusively through this website from 15 April 2022. To sign up for an account (through which to submit your abstract, etc), please access this page.

The registration fee is 250 EUR and includes access to all scientific sessions and poster viewing, the welcome get-together, refreshments during the coffee breaks, and a conference package with the programme. The social dinner is not included, costs 50 EUR, and participants can sign up for this at the time of payment.

Students can benefit from the reduced fee of 150 EUR. To benefit from this discount, a confirmation of the student status (undergraduate or Ph.D. students) must be provided by the direct supervisor (further details are available during the registration procedure).

It is possible to participate remotely also. Exact details will be provided at a later stage. The price is the same as above. During registration you will be asked to indicate your attendance choice.

Payment is possible by bank transfer or by credit card. Further details about the payment procedure is available through your personal myBIOMAP area.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations with a refund request must be sent by e-mail to the secretariat and must be accompanied by a valid justification. Refunds will be decided case by case by the organising secretariat. If accepted, cancellations within 16 September 2022 will be refunded fully minus an administrative charge. No refunds will be provided after 16 September 2022.

Abstracts can be submitted as Word documents exclusively through your personal myBIOMAP area; you will need to sign up for an account to have access to this area.

The abstract should be submitted by the presenting author only.

The abstract submission deadline is 31 August 2022. The organisers will then review the received abstracts for oral or poster presentations.

Abstracts guidelines:

• Title. Title must be centered and in capital letters.
• Authors. Write surname in full and use initial(s) for the first name(s). Underline your name (the presenting author, in whatever position you appear in the author list) and use commas to separate the author names. Insert affiliation, address and email. Example:
     Smith J., Ivanov I.I.
     Institution, Post and E-mail Addresses
• Abstract text. The text should be preferable not more than 1 page including figures, references etc.; written in English; typed in single line space; each manuscript page must be contained within the area 16 cm wide by 23.5 cm high without page numbering.

After the conference, a minimum number of 10 contributions presented at the congress, will be selected for peer-review, and if accepted, proposed for publication in a special issue of an international journal.

After the conclusion of the workshop, on 6 October, the organisers propose a full-day excursion that will take place if a minimum number of participants sign up. The cost is 65 EUR and information is avalibale HERE . If you wish to participate, please contact the secretariat at BIOMAP9@azuleon.org within 16 September 2022. Only after sufficient numbers have confirmed, will you be asked to process the payment for the excursion.
